Sapin-sapin is a traditional Filipino kakanin or rice cake that is known for its colorful layers and sweet, sticky texture. It is typically made from glutinous rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, and various flavorings and food colorings.

The process of making sapin-sapin involves dividing the mixture into three or more parts, each with a different flavor and color. The most common flavors include ube (purple yam), pandan (screwpine), and langka (jackfruit), which give the layers their vibrant hues. Other flavors such as coconut and cheese may also be added.
